After 8 years on Webtoons, my pal @joshnickerson83.bsky.social 's webcomic Melancholy is in its final chapter. But don't worry, I have a feeling his characters will find new acting gigs after the finale. www.webtoons.com/en/canvas/me...

This is a redesign of my Mariamu character, herself a redesign of an older elephant character, who will be renamed Miri for simplicity's sake... This approach emphasizes her scientist qualities further, as well as her more gluttonous aspects, for comedy's sake #furryart #furryfandom #elephantgirl

I don't know why I didn't post here much lately... well, here's some more art from me! A few characters for upcoming game projects! Hope you like them! #aritst #artwork #indiegamedev

Another picture of Ricky and Skye together, this time just posing together; Skye's mouth and lips are intentionally big I'm drawing these characters a lot because I'm thinking, but not wholly sure, about doing a video game with these two #ocs #ocart #originalcharacter #cartoon #cartoony #artist

Ricky, in the black coat, red shirt, and jeans, with blue-haired Skye behind him, also wearing jeans

A picture I made of Skye and Ricky together, taking their 500,000th photo together in the span of one hour... Skye is very much obsessed with taking photos #ocs #ocart #originalcharacters #cartoon #cartooncharacters

Ricky grabbing onto Skye's hand, telling her that they should get moving, while Skye wants to take another photo for her fans

Designs for Skye's best friend, Richard "Ricky" Davis, an all-star athlete who is also a mechanic with an interest in cars and motorcycles! Unlike a lot of people, Ricky actually likes indulging with Skye's ideas and thoughts and enjoys her company! #ocs #oc #biker #greaser #originalcharacter #art

A black man, with an afro, wearing a 1950s Greaser outfit; this is the main look for Ricky, meant to make him look like a "bad boy" and "cool dude"

The same black man with the same greaser outfit, giving a thumbs up

New pictures of Skye I did, with some design updates (the left image being her current look) Skye's VERY energetic, bubbly, and eccentric, enough to have a reputation of being bizarre in the university; she's VERY intelligent, but also VERY ditzy and flighty #ocart #ocs #cartoon #originalcharacter

The current and correct look for Skye, with the bright and radiant blue hair and the make-up with darker blues; Skye's lips and mouth should be somewhat bigger, though... but whatever, I'll fix it later

A slightly older picture of Skye, with her hair being the darker blue and her lips being very bright blue... thought this would work, but I'm not pleased with it

Some art I did of one of my human characters, Skye the Nature Lover, a social media influencer and hard-core environmentalist. Sadly, she has only seen moderate success in environmentalism, but has seen success as an online clothing, shoe, and make-up model, but doesn't get why #artist #ocs #ocart

Skye just standing there, her face in that kissy expression... which it always is, btw

This is likely going to be the final design for my Mariamu character, with this particular coloring scheme and details Going for the Dumbo look here, with the huge ears, and I also think I got the size of Mariamu down properly! #ocart #ocs #furry #furryart #elephant #elephantgirl #artist

Mariamu with her parrot companion, Pili; where Mariamu is a relatively reserved and composed individual, Pili is mouthy, snarky, loud, and brash!

Basically, where Mariamu is Banjo, Pili is Kazooie; also, Mariamu has teal clothes here when she should have light blue

The intended final look of Mariamu, with the circular design, the tribal outfit, and white sandals with blue straps

Sometimes a quiet night in on your phone the whole time is just what you need 🌱

A high Frankie lays contorted on the floor. She looks pleased with herself, rubbing on a giant cat nip pillow looking at her phone. In her paw is a baggie called “Bit O Nip” She’s scrolling on her phone with a blank, buffering smile. “Snrk…lmao, internet”

Design updates to various characters in my Pangaea Agency concept, showcasing minor touch ups to each of the major characters, all done to better reflect the themes and concepts of the Pangaea Agency Could use further adjustments, especially Chi and Toci #furryart #ocs #ocart #cartoon #cartoonart

A slight redesign of one of the other main characters in Pangaea Agency, Chiyoko "Chi" Hayabusa, which coincides with a personality change for her. I felt that Chi's design was too complicated, missing certain design themes that Kent and Toci had, and wouldn't really be practical for the game, so I made some design adjustments to make sure she fits with the other two.

This includes simplifying her Kimono to being a plain green one w/ yellow borders, making her Ronin hat green instead of brown, and replacing her tall sandals with simple yellow straw sandals; I also am considering giving her glasses, which would coincide with that personality change I mentioned... but details on that are TBD

A minor design update to one of the other major characters in Pangaea Agency, the military general and war hero (and Toci's boyfriend/fiance) Johnathan "John" Crusoe. John's old design was a bit too weird in my opinion, so I decided to soften his design a bit, with brighter blues and a more Flash Gordan-inspired direction, to give him a more heroic look to him... this is intentional for his character, btw...

Another picture of Toci Lynx, with a slightly modified outfit. The outfit modification is that her hat's feathers are not as tall as before... as much as I felt that the oversized hat w/ tall feathers did match Toci Lynx's Disney Villain-esque over-the-top campy, ham-tastic, and theatrical personality... the over-sized hat would be too impractical for the Pangaea Agency project and, as such, needed to be scaled down slightly

I also need to figure out how to convey over-the-top luxury and pirate clothes with only three colors, being red, brown, and black... that will be challenging, but I'll figure it out!

Some minor design adjustments to Kent Frogs, one of the main characters in my Pangaea Agency project. While I liked the new outfit I gave Kent in prior photos, the dominance of the brown color on the character, although it looked nice and matched the western aesthetic, did not suit what I wanted for the character, which was a blue-themed character in the face of Toci's red and Chi's green. As such, I adjusted Kent's colors to make sure the outfit was predominantly blue, with a blue hat

I had two versions of this outfit, one where the shirt and pants were black and the vest, gloves, and boots were blue, and one where the shirt and pants were blue and the vest, gloves, and boots were black; after thinking about it, I decided that the blue vest, gloves, and boots (as silly as it looks) matches the themes and aesthetics I want to do in Pangaea Agency... still is a cowboy, though...

Concepts for an elephant character, Mariamu, a VERY CHUB warrior woman who likes eating a lot This is actually a redesign of an older elephant character, named Mable, who I am redesigning for another Sonic-inspired project... I like Sonic, okay? #ocart #ocs #furry #originalcharacter #elephant

Grey elephant in blue tribal warrior gear; this is the third design (second redesign) for her, with a simpler color palate

A new picture I did of Kester the Koala for a game project... and I just wanted to do it! Decided that he would be 100% a cutesy and girly character now, as well as being a mute character, but still has some daredevil qualities #ocs #ocart #koala #anthro #furry #furryart #originalcharacter

Concepts for a warrior woman I made a while ago This was going to be for a cinematic platformer game project, but we decided to engage in further redesigns for the character. Still liked this design, so I tried to make it separate #indiegames #indiegamedev #originalcharacter #artist #ocs #ocart
