In the games user research space we've actually had to change how we talk about game systems with playtesters, because while 'NPC/Enemy AI' is common developer jargon that players used to be fine with, the term has been thoroughly poisoned by GenAI and will now elicit negative reactions from many.

‘Good’ narrative choices often only feel ‘good’ to the player in *contrast* to other narrative choices. It feels more meaningful to choose between A, B, and C because players trust that C, even if ‘Bad’, exists and has consequences. Even if a low % of players pick it, C simply existing is impactful.

I wish they'd had *more* fat characters (because I'm greedy and want more fat characters always) but Date Everything comes to mind Koa, Florence, Teddy, Phoenicia

Koa has dark brown hair that is shaved on the sides with curls on top, brown eyes and a goatee. He wears a short sleeved jacket that has a large collar that mimics a couch frame with elephant ear leaf patterns on the sleeves and below the arms on the collar. The vest of the jacket is made of cushions with a patterns that features tropical plants. His skirt is made of the same type of wood as the collar of his jacket and is adorned with patterns of the same leaf. There are dollar bills, coins, and receipts sticking out of the top of his skirt. He wears sandals with the same fabric pattern as the vest on his jacket that also feature a back and arms that somewhat resemble a beach lounger. He wears a necklace made of cushion springs that is adorned with items that might be found in couch cushions: keys, coins, and candy in wrappers. Florence has amber eyes, short black hair, subtle freckles on her cheeks, and tan skin.
