I'm sure they can make them fit! I wanna do two portraits for my next one. And my artist wants to do it over two days at a convention so he can enter it in competition. But I'm trying to decide if I have the constitution for being tattooed for 6 hours two days in a row in the same spot. 😬

I need to do some very heavy budgeting in case we’re in store for some kind of financial collapse. I still have a bunch of house stuff to do and need to have my car painted if I want it to last longer. Things are already so expensive I shudder to think what things will look like in a year or two. 🙃

I find some people also don’t engage when they feel like they don’t have the spoons. So they probably see it but think by interacting when they aren’t really able to do stuff, they’d feel like a dick. But sometimes the encourage is still nice even if you can’t do anything more.

I find the same. Luckily I’ve just gone on my own to the community stuff and met people there who subsequently became friends so that helps. People have a lot going on and it’s pretty draining but it’s less draining to me to do something actionable than to sit on my thumbs and hope for change.

Went from ‘what if I get a third cat?’ To ‘but my current cats get along so maybe I won’t so I don’t mess that up.’ To ‘okay but what if I get TWO more cats because bonded pairs always have a hard time getting adopted and then if they didn’t mesh as well with the others it’s fine.’ H E L P. 😅

Indeed. When they rounded up the Japanese Americans, myself and my family included, for internment during WWII out of fear over Japanese spies and saboteurs, two thirds of us were U.S. citizens. Don’t think it won’t happen again when they come for the “undocumented.”
