The Social Reckoning looks good, but I just don't think I can watch it. Mostly because I know how it ends, with Facebook becoming even more powerful and Zuckerbot becoming even richer. The trailers present it as a story of a massive takedown, but I know the badguys win.

Prey is a great movie, I know I'm late, but I firmly believe that a grizzly bear would fuck a predator up beyond recognition. Also, it's a crime that Amber Midthunder ever played supporting cast to Jack Quaid in an action movie, that woman is a star.

The Final Fantasy Tactics remaster is perfectly serviceable, it's probably even the best way to play the game if you've never played it before. But man, between using the War of The Lions localization and replacing the death screams with canned voice lines, I don't think I can stomach this

It's funny how we can't stop investing in fossil fuels or we can't nationalize Healthcare because of all the jobs that would be lost, but tech companies can fire 10s of thousands of people and dismantle entire industries because they don't want to pay people anymore. Funny how that works.

American Movie is weirdly nostalgic, all the old tech and hand editing and all the energy of friends who don't know what they're doing just figuring it out along the way. Bills last line is also beautiful in a way that can not be written down, it's just... Man everyone should see this movie.

I consider Ocarina of Time as close to perfect as a game can be, every part of the design informs every other part and it knows exactly what tools it's given the player and expects them to use them. I'm not sure what this remake is gonna look like, but I'm excited to find out.
