Caught up on my backlog of film, it’s mostly pictures! Pen wasn’t advancing properly for one roll so those ended up heavily overlapping, which could make something interesting. Or not.

The Kroger in Speedway has a popcorn shop, and it’s quite good! I’m enjoying the “Indy Mix”—butter, caramel, and Oreo. It’s nice to find something as staid and soulless as Kroger can still exhibit a bit of individuality.

Feeling better today so got to take my new bike build out for its first spin! It's a parts-bin drop-bar commuter built around a State 4130 Single Speed frameset with self-built 700c wheels that have a stealth two-speed kick-shift hub with coaster brake, which I originally built for my city cruiser.

Tomorrow I’m riding 100 miles in the Dust Bowl 100 gravel race. Afterwards for recovery I’ll be… riding more for the @centralincycling.org NITE ride around Indy (registration still open!), where I’ll be taking photos. Night street photography is tough! Here’s a couple shots from my recon ride.
