Watching Braverman get her arse absolutely handed to her tonight was a glorious watch.

Eugh. Disappointing all round from Parish. ‘Putting on a show’ ‘Everyone else does it’… that’s the point. We had something special. You and your team fucked it. Main Stand update doesn’t sound good. And… I will be getting behind our own current manager, can the same be said for you, Steve? #cpfc

Good interview. Always said that ‘on the field’ Parish does a good job. Football club has made great progress under him. However, I’m particularly interested in what he’s said regarding the ‘off the field’ stuff, published next week. Tickets, fans, match day etc. #cpfc

I’m in the very small minority who is for alcohol being allowed on the terraces. In home ends especially, any wanker who throws their beer will be policed by other fans- esp ST holders. I don’t think it’d increase drunkedness either, it just means fans can enjoy their pint, rather than cramming.

Agree with all of this. Really good first half. Need to build on it to get the goal. They’re getting joy down our right. But I’d add to the below, that even when Khalaili has his man stood up, he dives in at the wrong time. He’s great going forward, but I worry about him defensively. #cpfc

I'm massively behind Sage. There's a lot of good signs in the team. Granted, there are some defensive frailties, but nothing that cannot be fixed. Let's see how we get on today. #cpfc

Thought we were excellent tonight. Pino on fire, Timber with another brilliant performance, and McNeil came on and had a good game in the middle of the park too! Defence still shaky at times, dare I say that I look forward to Canvot and Ahanor in the same back 3 on Sunday. #cpfc

Maybe time to mention that on Thursday, Remi Matthews or Harry Lee cannot be selected in the squad due to the strict squad selection rules. Our back up GK will be 16 year old Benetton. #cpfc

Poor first half. Good second half. Into the draw, new ground away please! I really liked the look of Ahanor. I think a back 3 of Canvot, Disasi and Ahanor has Sage written all over it. I also really like Tomiyasu. Not sure where it would leave Richards though. 😬 #cpff

Best way to rate a transfer window IMO is to compare the squad now to the previous squad, rather than just looking at ins/outs. I’d say we’re in a far stronger position for Sage to tackle each competition. 8/10 IMO, would’ve been higher if we were able to improve the first XI just a bit. #cpfc

-A defender or 2 -A midfielder -The Sarr saga (‘Sarr-ga’ anyone?) and a replacement if it comes to it. -Potentially offloading Sosa, Devenny, Ozoh, Esse, Rak-Sakyi I will wait until the end of tomorrow before making any judgement but it will be a busy couple of days. #cpfc

First look at ‘sanitised Selhurst’ tonight… the PA, the light shows, the tourists, the flag bearers. It’s all led to this. Selhurst is not a fun place to be at the moment tbh. The football, better than last week. Not worried at all, I can see it clicking under Sage. #cpfc

I'm optimistic - very highly rated new manager, get a CM and trim some of those that won't make it with us sold and we've had an excellent window. Europa League draw tonight. No HF is sad but it's the same people in the same seats so how different will the atmosphere really be.... JPM is nothing new

This might bring a smile from fans of other clubs. But this is bad for football in a league that already has too many matches played sanitised atmospheres. And I do wonder what role the Marinakis banner law suit has played in this #cpfc

Ordóñez is a very exciting signing and feels like a proper Lacroix replacement. Very happy with this. Back 3 depth of Ordóñez, Richards, Canvot, Disasi, Tomiyasu + Lerma. 💪 Just the midfielder to sort, plus dealing with any Sarr/Mateta drama. #cpfc

Don’t care how important they’ve been, if a player actively wants out.. get rid. Get out of the club. If Sarr (and Muñoz?) are in a similar situation, the same goes for them. The squad has been built to be able to cope with this and we still have 2 or 3 more incomings to go. We’ll be fine. #cpfc

Went for a Newcastle win on the Super 6, so the Liverpool equaliser is a slight irritant. 😂 Always felt the Newcastle 'meltdown' was overblown. They'll be fine, they have some good young players and a lot of pace in their side. #NEWLIV

Wasn’t particularly impressed with Muñoz high fiving Everton fans as he goes round the pitch as he was subbed off. Apart from that, I think we’ll be okay. A couple of free hits until we get used to Sage’s system. Need the experience at the back - Tomi, Richards and Disasi next game I think. #cpfc

KMc @kmc-cpfc.bsky.social · 12/08/2026

Muñoz is brilliant, I’d love him to stay. However if £20m (Would be the 2nd highest fee for a 30+yo RB/WB behind Cancelo) enables us to then go and get someone like Camara and an additional centre back, then I’m open to the sale. Getting both Mingueza and Khalaili in softens that blow too. #cpfc

I’m just glad Johnson is out of the door. I really struggled to warm to him to him in a Palace shirt. Hopefully for his own sake he has a better time of it at Everton, just not on 22 August, please and thank you. Think McNeil suits us better, better with the ball and better delivery. #cpfc

260

KMc @kmc-cpfc.bsky.social · 09/08/2026

This is where I’m at too. It’s a terrible deal financially, we’d be cutting losses on Johnson by about £15m-£20m. But if you’re talking about the players only, and you gave me an option of Johnson or McNeil, I’m taking McNeil. As much as I want Johnson to do well, he has been horrific. #cpfc #efc

While we’re on a free transfer spree, might as well bring him home. I’m sure him and Sage can sort their differences. *This post is 100% sentiment, 0% logic.

KMc @kmc-cpfc.bsky.social · 31/07/2026

Would be happy with Tomiyasu on that half hour. Especially on a free. Ozoh is a conundrum. Looks a great young player but if we sign a centre mid, it pushes him down the pecking order. But a third Championship loan would seem pointless. #cpfc
