Allan Williams @allanw.bsky.social · 28/09/2026Wilfried Zaha is Palace's greatest ever player, but Michael Olise will be the best player to have ever played for the club #cpfc 0250
Allan Williams @allanw.bsky.social · 28/09/2026@mattwoosie.bsky.social great piece again Matt. I took the HF bit to be a more legally framed answer, and I suspect they will be back in the not too distant future 030
Allan Williams @allanw.bsky.social · 23/09/2026The contrast between the BBC and The Guardian's reporting on the small boat being on the channel for 30 hours amid protests is, ahem, stark. 021
Allan Williams @allanw.bsky.social · 20/09/2026Great point. We were really good value there and could have won it. Very happy with that. Should quieten some nerves. With all the upheaval, players away, and injuries, I wanted 4 points before the break minimum and we have that. Onwards. 070
Allan Williams @allanw.bsky.social · 20/09/2026Two days ago we won 4-0 on our Europa League debut but sure Sage is the problem. 040

Allan Williams @allanw.bsky.social · 15/09/2026Captain signing a new contract is in my view, perhaps a reflection that things are better inside the club than some people fear? 2130
Allan Williams @allanw.bsky.social · 15/09/2026Whoever briefed Bobby M clearly has the knives out for Sage because that article is a mountain out of a molehill 390

Allan Williams @allanw.bsky.social · 12/09/2026People are mental. Khalaili scores at the end and we win as well. Yeah unsettled defence is a concern but choosing not to be negative. 5101
Allan Williams @allanw.bsky.social · 05/09/2026As decent as we look going forward, we look weak as shit at the back. Concerning 160
Allan Williams @allanw.bsky.social · 02/09/2026Would have loved a centre back (and we tried) and feel there's a drop off in quality, but given financial restrictions we have bulked out the squad and added some quality. I'm pretty happy. Give them time to bed in and we will be on the charge with Pierre Sage 010
Allan Williams @allanw.bsky.social · 01/09/2026Suppose we are gonna get news tonight on home tickets for the Europa League? 🤔 100
Allan Williams @allanw.bsky.social · 31/08/2026The closer we get to the window the more random names are going to be linked to us. This defender is incredible but I get the not loving it as a move to help Chelsea. But if it puts money into other positions then I am okay. Let's judge after window closes, not wet ourselves in fear just yet eh? 121

In addition to the wonderful music, and the sharp wit, Dolly Parton’s literacy program, the Imagination Library, has sent *318 million* books to children under 5. Including 7 million in Britain alone. A fantastic legacy. 05611
Allan Williams @allanw.bsky.social · 22/08/2026Back from Everton. Am sure its old ground but: Two poor teams. First half we could and should have been 2 up. Munoz error, great finish and that's it. Second half we offered very little. Poor Riad. I like Khalaili. Pino had a decent cameo but otherwise we looked soft. Leadership an issue. 260

Allan Williams @allanw.bsky.social · 13/08/2026I'm sorry but after over a month of very hot weather and no rain at all, if you are a politician and you are not talking about climate change and how it impacts and is affected by EVERYTHING, from AI & data to food to transport to water to schools to housing & heating, then what are you even doing? 481

Allan Williams @allanw.bsky.social · 04/08/2026I think my big concern over transfers is that we are waiting until the end of the window to save a couple of million. But that sacrifices the points in the first few games, which would net us higher positions and more millions in prize money. 100
Allan Williams @allanw.bsky.social · 30/07/2026Two immediate thoughts on UEFA statement: 1. As a Palace fan, I am now conflicted on whether I should be liking UEFA again 2. Italy are never playing in a world cup ever again. 291
Allan Williams @allanw.bsky.social · 30/07/2026All of this. Effectively two centre backs down from Jan and season starts in 3 weeks. Penny pinching and waiting til the end of the window simply won't cut it 110

Allan Williams @allanw.bsky.social · 21/07/2026Question. Did Bloom stick Hearts in a blind trust? Because if they lose this tie and the next they drop into the conference league - higher league position would keep Hearts in over that lot on the coast, wouldn't it? 210

Allan Williams @allanw.bsky.social · 16/07/2026We won games that papered over cracks in the squad. Players unfit. Squad picked on vibes and then not trusted. Lack of plan B. He is meant to be an elite cup coach but that was awful. Home euros in two years with a squad at its peak. Personally I'd cut losses and throw money at Pep. 000
