Digibunny @klaustrix.com · 25/08/2026A labour of love, but man it was fun to replay this classic and relive the adventure - not played FFIX since it first came out in 2000, and still as beautiful as I remember. A very sad story but one of the most fun and quintessential FF entries in the series, a capstone for the whole Squaresoft era. 140
Digibunny @klaustrix.com · 25/08/2026For the sake of illustration it might look something like this inside a workstation. Having to rotate and place the pieces to fit them all in, or upgrading the hard drive to increase the grid space. Then you could click on a shape to 'configure' the service or program. 000
Digibunny @klaustrix.com · 25/08/2026I really loved how these Zachtronics inspired tiles came out, they were for a network sim game, each using a modular design as abstractions of a work space. Then the apps would appear as little virtual hexagonal tiles inside the middle area and you'd click on them to open editor dialogue boxes. 110
Digibunny @klaustrix.com · 24/08/2026Artists, QRP with your style range. I haven't done a lot of art in a while that wasn't part of a bigger project, but here's a peek at some of my stuff. 041
Digibunny @klaustrix.com · 19/08/2026This inspires... can we mechify Brum? Maybe it could be the Pete Townsend of mechs? 000
Digibunny @klaustrix.com · 18/07/2026Several years ago I got a sudden creative urge. Still think this is a pretty neat piece - 'Long Cat Roams the Multiverse' #art #mixedmedia #longcat 240
Digibunny @klaustrix.com · 15/07/2026Randomly got followed by a group of accounts that didn't have avatars, and now suddenly all have generic face shots. Hello bots. Hows the en-deadening of the internet going? 050
Digibunny @klaustrix.com · 08/07/2026Because what goes around comes around, if you see this, share a circle, a disk, something round. 010
Digibunny @klaustrix.com · 02/07/2026I was struggling to get my xp pen artist 15.6 to work with my PC, it wanted all the other screens the same small resolution to sync the cursor properly. But thankfully it works pretty well with the steam deck. Now I need to install a graphics app on my deck... 020
Digibunny @klaustrix.com · 30/06/2026We have a disability bathroom from when my grandma was alive, but the floor doesn't properly contain the water. Some dark stains have built up I dunno how to get rid of? Bleach soaking didn't help much (pics are before/after) 000
Digibunny @klaustrix.com · 28/06/2026Between Overwatch's original preview week and release was like drug withdrawal. I spent it designing all kinds of custom characters. One of my favourites was a fat squat guy driving a chibified, weaponized Dekotora truck that played like a mix of Torbjorn and D.Va 010
Digibunny @klaustrix.com · 23/05/2026"Think back to your childhood. Do you remember when the anxiety started?" 020
Digibunny @klaustrix.com · 22/05/2026The only thing I've seen that comes close to Yoshitaka's illustrations is the Jodorowsky Dune artwork - similarly bold, vibrant, and embracing crazy patterns with hard geometric technology. 210
Digibunny @klaustrix.com · 22/05/2026A little peek into that time I was writing a D&D session that was also a musical. I present the parody song: A Modron Major General. All together now! #D&D #ttrpg 041
Digibunny @klaustrix.com · 16/05/2026Imagine being me a year ago, thinking this shit was 'less intensive' than just using area2d's and signals. lol, lmao even. #godot #gamedev 0101
Digibunny @klaustrix.com · 16/05/2026Widgets are in play along with the add tool allowing left-click to add new points. The data and nodes are properly separated, and the direction arrows use a bake of curve, check the length for the closest point, and look slightly ahead of that to get a direction. Phew! Slowly getting there. 100
Digibunny @klaustrix.com · 14/05/2026Back to Phantom Power after I lost all my work last year. I knew I needed to rebuild it anyway, the first draft was very roughly implemented (one dictionary to rule them all). I learned a lot from the first try, and more from my Zelda project, so now feels a good time. Rebuilt the UI in one day. 150
Digibunny @klaustrix.com · 13/05/2026Remaking the UI elements of my song editor, but I have a UX question. My nodes are diamonds, and the centre of the editor is represented by a crosshair. The 'return to centre' button used to have a circular centre, but should it be consistent (diamond for both?) or circle for both? Or as it was? 100
Digibunny @klaustrix.com · 11/05/2026Phew, so now I have support for general branches, conditional branching, and actions which can trigger code like reducing rupees and updating game state flags! This combines with custom formatting, bbcode support, and turbo mode. #godot #gamedev #zeldagodot 071
Digibunny @klaustrix.com · 08/05/2026I haven't seen many horror films, but I was a fan of the surrealist Japanese horror Gozu. A senile yakuza member has to be taken to the countryside to be executed, but things go awry in increasingly surreal ways. Director Takashi Miike delivers Cronenburg vibes in this dream-like nightmare! 000
Digibunny @klaustrix.com · 05/05/2026One of my favortie D&D group's unsolved mysteries was their attempt to heist a valuable artifact from a casino vault. They sneak in, reach the room, and moments before entering there's a loud ruckus - they hesitate, and as things go quiet the door creaks open to reveal chaos. 120
Digibunny @klaustrix.com · 03/05/2026No idea what the source on this is, but man it really captures the more cyberpunk / goth / Lain vibes the first Matrix encapsulated. What do you call this? Tech-gore? Definitely has a stronger vibe than the post-apocalyptic zion and clean, slick matrix styles of the sequels. 250
Digibunny @klaustrix.com · 23/04/2026Time for the yearly sheering. Lovely to have a haircut that doesn't leave me looking like Cailou. The lady was very gentle and clocked the tism immediately ❤️ 020
Digibunny @klaustrix.com · 22/04/2026May I suggest Fingeringhoe, down by the south green, below high park corner. 251
Digibunny @klaustrix.com · 15/04/2026I thought entirely too long and too hard about this, but here we go. Doing this with no dupes was really tough. 070
Digibunny @klaustrix.com · 15/04/2026Phew, another chunk of functionality sorted! The dialogue system uses chunks of dialogue divided into segments, then sentences with a speaker label. The bbcode is broken down so tags come out whole and text within is put out letter by letter to prevent colours popping in. #godot #gamedev #zeldagodot 082
Digibunny @klaustrix.com · 15/04/2026The game was 'what if magic appeared in London' so we took some every-day folks and magically amped up their abilities. A medical student who heals, a police woman given super strength, an engineer who can build magical devices. It was fun making something as a real game dev team with set roles. 230
Digibunny @klaustrix.com · 15/04/2026Fun Fact: At university I was a finalist in the 2008 Dare Protoplay. We weren't told the scope so we made a contemporary action RPG. I did the level design and modelled an underground station featuring posters of our friend's band posters and art. We presented it for 2 days in Edinburgh at the EIF. 130
Digibunny @klaustrix.com · 12/04/2026Whew okay I think pits are solved. They can be closed and open up from standing too long on it, and they pull you in, you shake when trying to escape, and you get respawned nearby (I have a grid of collision shapes that mirror the gb game screens, they update your respawn pos when touched) 120
Digibunny @klaustrix.com · 11/04/2026Took a week off working on ZeldaGodot but back looking at pit traps! Here you can see the distribution of Link's sprite position after falling in (He's a little square of light in the final frame of the fall anim). Because of his low hit box he gravitates towards an offset point, not the centre. 170
Digibunny @klaustrix.com · 07/04/2026Those who fail to study the memes are doomed to have them reposted derisively about their predictable downfall. 060
Digibunny @klaustrix.com · 06/04/2026The new Artemis II close up's of Tabgha Base may look disturbing at first glance, but UN spokesperson Comd. Ikari has confirmed the 'red streak' as an illusion is caused by iron particles in the moon's atmosphere. 100
Digibunny @klaustrix.com · 05/04/2026New Artemis 2 photos raising questions this Easter weekend, but NASA insist the giant being of light over Antarctica is of no concern. 040
Digibunny @klaustrix.com · 01/04/2026Turns out if you mix up collision layers, you can turn a chain chomp into a mount! One of those fun bugs that would make a cool feature. #godot #gamedev #zeldagodot 062
Digibunny @klaustrix.com · 30/03/2026The demons have failed to destroy me, whimsy remains triumphant. 020
Digibunny @klaustrix.com · 26/03/2026Third video: Teleporters & Audio overrides The teleporter combines an animation player with sprite animations and some basic logic to unlock the current teleporter and send link to the next unlocked teleporter. There's also audio override areas for music and sfx, such as the waterfall white noise. 020
Digibunny @klaustrix.com · 26/03/2026Second video: Scene Transitions. This is set up to be reusable for any scene transition between inside and outside, so now it's just a matter of making all the interior maps and hooking them up to the portal objects. 120
Digibunny @klaustrix.com · 26/03/2026So this is a little 3 post update for Zelda Godot. We now have: - Music & sound effects - Full game loop (title screen > game over > continue) - Portals & scene transitions - Teleporters - Music overrides - Environmental sfx channel First video: Music & Game loop #godot #gamedev #zeldagodot 192
Digibunny @klaustrix.com · 22/03/2026Spent some time to build Koholint since I have all the sprites now. A good chance to get in depth with the island design and lots of little details to appreciate. Very inspiring. 111
