The General Aire M3 Humidistat is a triumph of UI design (derogatory). In the pre-internet age I would have had no clue what this knob in our new house is.

Our cat Suki languished in a shelter for a year because she was bitey. But it was clear when we met they were attention-demanding nibbles. She is the cuddliest cat ever. The tummy is not a trap. When I'm on the computer she will lay propped up on my forearm, belly-out, and demand scritches.
