If the president of the US wasn't a fucking MORONIC PIECE OF SHIT we wouldn't even have "Sam Altman's Wager". Any REASONABLE leader would just treat advancing AI at this point the way we treat nukes and prioritize preventing others from building data centers to some extent so there is no "race".

My wife has worked in child safety at socmed for quite some time and this is something they struggle with -- their queues are flooded with people reporting content that is not actionable but IS taking up their time to help Actual Living Children.

A sketch illustration of Malon from the Legend of Zelda. Or maybe Cremia? I always get them mixed up. She's not technically an elf, but close enough.

I think the worst "anti-AI take" is that the various threats ranging from replacing jobs to escaping containment and potentially wiping out humanity as stated by whistleblowers is all for show to interest shareholders because dangerous somehow = value. You're more harmful than the pro-AI side.

The problem now becomes that I can't have genuine opinions everyone will disagree with for one reason or another while having friends or being able to collaborate with others. If I do, others will attack those people too. I can only exist in my own corner disagreeing with everyone all the time.

Kitsuyoth/Kitsu-P 🎼🌌 Ⓐ @kitsuyothp.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

I've lost enough friends so I don't really care anymore. I've decided to take the side of AI. I've always been more or less on the fence about it, but there's been too many examples of it being used for good and creative works that upset spoiled privileged artists for creating in a way they dislike.

Kitsuyoth/Kitsu-P 🎼🌌 Ⓐ @kitsuyothp.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

People who hate AI art need to realize that in reality, more often than not, it is going to be beautiful and eventually the minor errors like looping hair strands will become more rare. To actually care about human made art is to give a chance to the stories represented by the ugly and imperfect.

Kitsuyoth/Kitsu-P 🎼🌌 Ⓐ @kitsuyothp.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

I can't fucking stand the idea of people thinking they need to "put aside" something just because they found out the person who made it doesn't have the same morals as them. Who gives a fuck? You sound like children born yesterday. So you enjoyed the expression of a racist baby rapist, get over it.

I think the most concerning part of the OOT remake trailer is this moment when fighting what should be the Iron Knuckle. I don't see anyone talking about it at all, but if you can just shield its attacks what even is the point? This would kind of ruin one of the best enemies in the game.

What appears to be Link blocking an Iron Knuckle's axe with his shield.

One thing I haven't mentioned was that the "toy-like" design is exactly a direction I predicted and wanted for a long time, especially for most Nintendo 64 remakes. I think keeping true to a lot of character design elements while making the worlds more realistic is near impossible otherwise.

Saying the Zelda OOT remake looks like AI is just a massive compliment to AI. Also I'm glad the artstyle is the way it is. I don't get what it is people were expecting, a port of the 3DS remake? It seems like people forget that even exists if you want something "more faithful to the original".
