Strong winds this afternoon could result in blown down limbs triggering power outages. Our friends at Washington Emergency Management Division have produced a video with tips on what to do before a power outage: buff.ly/RnLeUuY
Be prepared for a power outage. Power outabes are more likely to occur during strong winds and winter storms.
Power outages may disrupt communications, water utilities, transportation, cause food spoilage and water contamination. Power outages may cause stores and other business to close and may prevent use of medical devices.
