Headed to work for another shift, and I'm just -tired- Exhaustion is something that round the world travellers get, and nurses working round the clock, and soldiers in war zones. So I won't take the piss, I'm not 'exhausted' but I am so very tired. My battery is flashing low power.

Chap I worked with a couple of years ago started his career on the very last years of these beasts, trained as a Driver and ended up in Control. He saw so much change. Lucky to have been a recipient of a fraction of that wealth of experience and knowledge. He retired last week. Absolute legend. 🙌

RT with your home river. I grew up on the borders of South Staffs, the Stour was my closest river, running at that point as a stream, on its way to Stourport to join with the mighty Severn. These days I'm further north. We've the River Rother and the River Hipper which converge in Chesterfield.
