Can tell I'm old now. It was 4°c when I left the house yesterday, so I put my hat on for the first time this autumn. I walked by no-one else wearing a hat. Many weren't even in coats, still in their jumpers, blazers, and shirts. In my youth I wore shorts all year round. What has become of me? 😭

Also, I have a battery that's actually usable - I left the house this morning at 0430 with it charged up and this is my battery now leaving work. Obviously I've only had light usage but that includes listening to music on my way in and light browsing. On my iPhone it'd be half that.

Honestly don't know. My Nan used to step on them (and my Mom still does) but as far as I know, they eat aphids. In large numbers they can destroy plants and crops I'd imagine especially as they're developing, but I don't think they're dangerous or anything like that. Google is your friend.

Sad bastard time, but I've never noticed before - I can only assume the platform level at Chesterfield on Platform 2 used to be about a ft higher? Judging by the amount of footing on show on these original canopy pillars on P2 compared to those on P1. The station was considerably rebuilt in the 90s.
