I also have this big chonky bit with a tapered section which I guess gives a fairly large area to play on. I might pick off some of the bigger stones so I can layer up with a ruin or a bunker or somesuch.

We all know what low tide looks like, but does anybody know of any case studies of seabed that was drained and stayed that way for ages? Long enough that somebody could, if they so desired, dig trenches and fight over it? Only thing I can think is the Aral Sea, but that's more gradual. #Nerdlings

Aside from the fact it's currently blue, does this look like rock? Something vaguely shale-ish maybe? These trenches are meant to have been cut through rocky outcrops and coastal cliffs. I can't decide if this looks the part or if I should find a new technique before I continue? #nerdlings

A variety of work-in-progress wargames terrain pieces, primarily small trench systems or individual foxholes and low walls. They're mainly just shaped foam held together for glueing with wooden skewers to prevent too much movement.

Along with carting the barrels of black powder, shot, food, and tents, the haulers guild provided a simple but effective mobile artillery. Their drivers - often profoundly deaf - manoeuvred their wagons to suitable positions and raked the goblin lines with lead shot from each flank. #nerdlings

The majority of the troops at Drakescale Pass were the guild levies - regiments of smiths, masons, and farmers, all outfitted by their guilds. Armoured in maille and jacks and bearing tall shields, they made up for in bravery and numbers what they lacked in training. #nerdlings

At Drakescale Pass, Queen Audhild fought upon a shield borne by two of her Queen's Guard knights. From this vantage she could view the battlefield above the heads of her troops to see where the fighting was thickest and bring her halberd down on the heads of even the tallest troll. #nerdlings
