Anyway I gave my Ghost Fret some care and attention. Did a proper clean, fixed the toggle switch, tightened the jack socket (heh) and put a set of new strings on and to celebrate I decided to learn a song. It's not difficult but it is fun, and that's the important bit

I keep seeing people say the new Heroic Auto Bolt Rifle isn't good, but I have to disagree It sounds great, the increased fire rate is satisfying, and it's pretty accurate, which makes it very fun ...it's still worse than EVERY OTHER BOLT WEAPON, but apart from that it's pretty good

I literally just found it myself. Well of Echoes. Holy shit. That's been bugging me for a WHILE. Also apparently I read the second series in the overall story, having no idea that there was another one set before it, which is pretty funny. God damn. Finally. FINALLY.

It was a series that culminated in A BIG THING happening that looked like it was going to wrap up everything and solve the whole inter-world war thing, and instead it just made everything worse and there was an entire sequel series that I refused to read because I was so pissed off Any ideas....?

And the main character (can't remember who or why he is) ends up travelling with a girl who's like sensitive to magic or some shit, and they have to close the rifts between the worlds (maybe?) also he is grossly inappropriate with her early doors cos she's young and vulnerable and YIKES

There was an old blurb to the effect of ‘imperium sent out deep space probe and all the signals they got back were Orkish.’ I want to say it is pretty old, like 3rd to maybe 5th edition, somewhere in there. I also think it didn’t specify it was outside the Galaxy, just very far away.

Two bits of lore. The idea that the Tyranids might be fleeing something in their home galaxy is common speculation; not sure if it was ever in the books. The Ork thing is a pre-Imperial probe that's been travelling for 14,000 years but is still only picking up Ork signals (wherever it is now).
