Title: Some Kind of Stranger Come Inside
Author: mewzilla
Summary:
Thancred Waters is overwhelmed by responsibility and just wants a nice little hook-up to blow off some steam.
[begin quoted text]
A trill of delight sparked its way down Thancred's spine from the nape of his neck to the end of his tailbone. Mysterious elezen with beautiful hands were a particular weakness of his; they stole all of his wit and made his tongue flounder for the banter that usually came quickly and easily when he needed it. He took another sip of his drink to fill the silence, to give his tongue time to find itself again, then said, "Are you asking?"
The elezen inclined their head. "I am asking."

Notes:
Set during early ARR MSQ, not long before Thancred ends up with a particular necklace. I found myself wondering how that whole thing had gone down and the next thing I knew it I'd written a fic.](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:eqklajwbkhnquhv3eq5qu55j/bafkreiagr7grcfngbqpblmanrzrxzncnh3vrxeh2sxnjczatkkes6ssify)
