I was asked to build a controller for a traffic light prop for local theater group, but keep it cheap. I may have taken the instructions too literally.

A cardboard box with a 3-way light switch, and a momentary toggle switch installed on top of it. The light switch has a dial from some other equipment stuck on it. The four positions for the light switch are labeled G, Y, R, and OFF. The momentary switch has two labels, one that says "traffic light" and the other says "flash"

Think I finally got a dock setup that actually works as a one-plug solution to my laptop The only "issue" is the new dock's 3.5mm output is *astonishingly* horrible so I have to use HDMI audio to my 2nd monitor and the 3.5mm off of that. Still, just one USB C to the laptop, so pretty good!

A broken wall outlet. One of the two outlet faces has been broken completely off of the outlet. It has paint in the outlet holes as well.

I'm a liiiiittle bit salty I didn't get the tips of my knees in frame, but the tripod was already on top of the sink to get this angle, and it seemed important to have the anchor point for the hair in frame... either way, the S23 got the upward angle that captures everything, so it's all good :3

This desk setup is really helping my productivity. Got all but the last two minutes of this video mostly finished today! Still need to finalize transition effects and audio correction, but those are the easy parts.

Not 100% sure what I'm doing with this corner behind my desk, but it's sorta coming together. It's weird how inexperienced I am at organizing my own space. Anywhere I lived was always tiny, and everyone in my family had hoarder tendencies, so there wasn't really "my" space.

There is a short bookcase/shelf in the corner. There is a small Sony Trinitron TV on top of the shelf next to a "Tote Vision" VHS player. There is an AtGames Sega Genesis on top of the TV. There is a birdcage with a stuffed Aerodactyl in it on top of the VHS player. There is a wall shelf with camera equipment and a gasmask on it. I never really think about shower spray patterns, they're usually all pretty uncomfortable... But the new one has this super fine mist spray, like fog! It's so diffuse I don't feel overstimulated and sad by the time I'm done! It's actually nice! ...is this how other people feel after they shower?

Still kicking and still getting things settled at home... including the new crab tank! 200lbs+ of sand and coconut fiber, 60w heating, 1 gallon fresh and 3 gallons saltwater. Been through 4 tanks, 3 houses, and 10yrs with this little dude so far, and ready to see how the next 10yrs play out ^-^

Why settle for the two power outlets built into your desk when you have access to surplus server equipment and zipties?

Bought an old set of Yamaha speakers for my new desk. Said "tested" but didn't come with the adapter. ...which turned out to be some goofy plug my universal wouldn't fit. Tore apart a junked chromebook, hit the soldering station, and made an aux cable. Not pretty, but they thump pretty good now :3
