I maintain we could close Howard St between 3rd and 4th full time.

This new thread marker is a nice feature. don't have to "waste" characters on them any more.
A Bluesky post from Attorney General Nick Brown. At the end of the text there's a notation "1.2" in a different font color indicating that it is the first of two posts in a thread. The notation is called out with a red circle around it. (The text of the skeet isn't relevant.)

Oh, i know i can get more... it's just that i haven't been near enough recently to get to those libraries to get them. in the meantime, I'm down to 26 cards from a high of 27.
you have one card at this library, and 24 cards at other libraries.

The way Bluesky collapses threads into the first and last 2 posts often amuses me. How a thread goes from "men want to be gatekeepers for women" to "you don't want to own a boat" ... click through to find out! (Not a knock on Jessica Price. She's very insightful.)
Two posts from Jessica Price with a ... between them indicating elided posts.

1st post: weird how men built societies in which women could only access basic resources through men and are now trying to return us to that while also complaining that women who try to access resources through men are gold diggers

2nd post: generally you don't want to own a boat unless you have a TON of resources so someone else can do the work of maintaining it. you want a friend with a boar, or to rent a boat when you feel like boating. men have largely made romantic relationships with them the same as a boat.

Can't build housing that blocks views of the Golden Gate Bridge from all* the districts in SF. Which is why we should build a Golden Gate Bridge in every district!!!
Great project. wrong location. if this goes through it will unleash turning the marina green into Manhattan. the GG Bridge won't be seen from D1, D2, D4, D3, D5, D7, d8, d9. it grounds out community.

I saw a Waymo dropping off in this spot today. It's right before where the collision occurred. I suppose the bike lane gap is there so cars can turn right onto Stevenson but it's used as a dropoff.
A kermit painted bike lane abruptly ends so that cars have a turn lane onto Stevenson. There are no "No Parking" signs and the curb is not painted red.

Philip Weiss (Phil in SF) @kingrat.us · 20/06/2025
The Waymo was parked somewhere in this section pictured here. Although signed as no parking except for 6 wheel commercial vehicles, I see cars parked there all the time. Just past mid-block, is a passenger drop zone & the bike lane abruptly ends.
A sidewalk, a parking lane, a bike lane, and a traffic lane, separated only by white paint.

On the 24th I put in a SF311 request to get flexposts on the bike lane on 7th between Mission & Market. There were like 4 when I moved here, and only 1 (very sad looking) one was left. There were 10 (TEN) fresh flexposts separating the lane from traffic today.
