The Rime of the Unaccommodated Traveller
A ballad, after the form of Coleridge Part the First A traveller waits beside the ramp, And stops a passer-by. "You, sir, with the briefcase and the phone - Why won't you meet my eye? You'd stop for a man who'd missed his train, Or one who'd lost his way; Why not for me, who's waited longer Than either, any day?"

What Féile an Phobail row has shown is that women’s rights are at risk — just not from a tiny trans minority
Belfast Telegraph27 Jul 2026ALLISON MORRIS
I’ve thought long and hard about commenting on the controversy over the cancellation of the Women’s Rights Network (WRN) event at Féile an Phobail — not because I don’t have an opinion, but because it is a debate that attracts the most toxic elements.

WRN NI was not a group I was familiar with beforehand, so I did some research.

No speakers were listed in the Féile programme for the planned event, which in itself is odd as there are for almost every other of the 90-plus debates and discussions.

The group has since announced who its speakers were to be in a series of online posts.

My research took me down quite the rabbit hole — a who’s who of the anti-trans movement not just on this island but Europe-wide.

I don’t pretend to understand their motivation.

In fact, I remain baffled as to why in one of the most dangerous places for women to live in Europe, the group — which has spoken out about femicide before — is obsessing about a small minority instead of the actual dangers we face from domestic violence and femicide.

I have worked for decades covering violence against women and girls in all the distressing forms that takes.

I know the names of every woman and child murdered in Northern Ireland in the last 10 years without even having to look them up.

Not a single one was caused by a trans woman — I checked the list twice just to be sure.

None of them were murdered in a public toilet either, which having looked at the online posts of WRN and their many affiliates, is apparently the most dangerous place on earth for women, with trans predators lurking in every cubicle.

Apart from the absurdity of much of the group’s argument regarding the perceived dangers of trans women, the claim that women are being silenced by Féile is the most disingenuous of them all.

I'm quoting because I can't reply for some reason! It was funny. They complained i hadn't written a compliant LBA, when it clearly was (a stealth LBA fully compatible with the Practice Direction: Pre- action Conduct.) Then they quoted the RA LBA at me as "how to do it". Lolol. It didn't end well.

Sex Matters is a charity that loves to hate trans people. And your tax money is paying for it. The stuff they spin isn’t just false, it’s dangerous. So we reported them to the Charity Commission with a dossier of evidence on their staff & trustees. ✊Help us fight back: goodlaw.social/anrx

Euston assistance failure: judge trebles damages, Network Rail appeals
Network Rail was ordered to pay me £3,750 in June, after failing — again — to meet me with booked passenger assistance at Euston. It's the second time a court has found against them for exactly this failure, and the judge said the repetition made things worse, not better. Network Rail is now appealing the damages. There's a long and undistinguished history of assistance failures…

Charging his Tesla through his letter box. @therealyplac.bsky.social
A white Tesla, MH74 JGO, parked fully on the pavement such that it is impossible to get past with a wheelchair. Cars go past on the right whilst an electric wheelchair using lady with excellent bright pink clothing waits, unable to get past.

Gotta love a consensus that says foodbanks are fine but wealth taxes are an unspeakable atrocity. Flip that shit.

Rail Delivery Group members called me a "vandal," claimed I'm "raking in obscene compensation by bullying," and labelled me "vexatious." An orchestrated campaign of dismissing and drowning out anybody who doesn't kow-tow to their gaslighting accessibility narrative. @railmag.bsky.social
