Over the past year, users who had bookmarked the product started coming back to try it out — and they’re actually paying. Marketing is just as much of a long game as building the product. The earlier you start investing in it, the sooner you’ll see the results pay off.

Some actions can have an effect much later than when they actually happened, or their value lies in the “long tail” rather than in the event itself. What I mean is this: some time ago, I posted Onigiri on HN. There was a traffic spike, not too many signups, and no payments at all.

We’re hitting $65 MRR and this will cover the costs for cloud for and other soft for both of our products. Finally the break even point and tons of learnings made during this year. P.s. graph doesn’t include one yearly subscriber which I count as well #buildinpublic
