kijake64.bsky.social @kijake64.bsky.social · 01/10/2026It seems as though the man believes that putting his name on everything will leave the impression that he actually did good things for this nation. Or maybe it stems from a deep need to make it look like he matters. I'm not a psychologist, but I believe this man is deeply harmed. A pathetic figure. 000
kijake64.bsky.social @kijake64.bsky.social · 01/10/2026No, they've become a joke, or rather he's become a joke, a meme, and that reflects on the military he leads. A military that has gone along with actions he's ordered that can be deemed war crimes. 000

kijake64.bsky.social @kijake64.bsky.social · 27/09/2026Why stop at the Trumps? Why not go after every billionaire who profited from Trump's machinations on their behalf? The first items on the agenda of a new (sane, honest POTUS w/ integrity) should be election reform, SCOTUS reform, graduated taxes on the wealthy, and expanded benefits. 000
kijake64.bsky.social @kijake64.bsky.social · 27/09/2026Congress has always been the problem with this man. kijake64.bsky.social @kijake64.bsky.social · 20/09/2026Funny thing about diesel. It's the lowest fraction in the cracking tower and the cheapest to produce. kijake64.bsky.social @kijake64.bsky.social · 20/09/2026It's a sad commentary on our nation that candidates need to become celebrities to get elected to office. kijake64.bsky.social @kijake64.bsky.social · 12/09/2026There is one thing I've seen stated by many on Bluesky ... the *only* way we will win back our nation is if the voting is so overwhelming that the numbers can't be denied. Apparently, there *was* cheating in the 2024 election--on the GOP side. We could lose our country in the midterms. 011
kijake64.bsky.social @kijake64.bsky.social · 12/09/2026One more comment. FDR was also prevented from doing everything he wanted. The hubbub about Social Security? It is only one account that has a problem, and a small change in wording would fix that particular problem. We've learned enough that we can restore and add while doing much better. 011
kijake64.bsky.social @kijake64.bsky.social · 12/09/2026We are seeing so many better candidates who look to the needs of the people rather than the wants of the wealthy. kijake64.bsky.social @kijake64.bsky.social · 12/09/2026It was good, better than what people had before it. I'm not denying that. The Powell Memo = fork in road. 011
kijake64.bsky.social @kijake64.bsky.social · 12/09/2026Obama saved it, Clinton saved it, Biden saved it. That's long been the pattern. I'm not saying that the Dems have done nothing. kijake64.bsky.social @kijake64.bsky.social · 12/09/2026I've watched for decades as the social programs created to help people have been deliberately eroded--often by Dems to pacify the GOP. The ACA was a step towards something better, but it wasn't the bill that Obama wanted to pass. Dems pacify the GOP far too much, IMO. The Dems need to do more. 010
kijake64.bsky.social @kijake64.bsky.social · 12/09/2026I know that statement ^^ sounded cavalier, but it was painful for me to start seriously looking at GOP & Dem presidents, and recognize that while Dems do many good things, there are many things they haven't done that have contributed to where we are right now. Now = decades in the making. 210

It is more complicated and requires more work and resources. Even with methods like the Miyawaki Method, it will take generations to begin replacing what was lost. We need to react fast to save ourselves. 010
