Do you know your dog's breed? We have a rescue we adopted that looks so much like this, and I've not been able to determine what breed he is. Searches keep taking me to Catahoula Leopard. Finances are tight, so we haven't gotten a DNA test. Mother was an Australian Shepherd.

We have two rescues we adopted. The largest one, some in our family think, was a victim of dog fighting, as well. He's a sweetheart for us, but has fear-based aggression and is extremely protective of us. We were fortunate he clicked with our husky girl. He has a better life now.
