Sharing random lyrics Monday... "Execute us, make us suffer, the mob will be impressed. Execute us, so we don't ask why, we're impoverished. Why do we deserve more than this? Why do we deserve more than this?" Well, why?

I like to leave the raw emotion in my songs, I like to bend vocal notes, I don't use pitch correction so that the human quality of the message is maintained. What quirk do you have?

Kiffie8 @kiffie.info · 22h

Did some stone painting around the fam today. My art is strong.

Tried and failed to make a sort of scrap book display of some of my features in electronic sound. I think I need a prit-stick or something. And a more easy to use frame. 😅

A poorly mounted scrapbook frame of 3 electronic sound features of my music, reviews etc.

Ive been having a sort out of my CDs. Some go back to the mid 80s. Does anyone know why Elton John recordings from late 80s to early 90s are so rough? They sound really thin compared to maybe Richard Marx.

So writing an entire album against racism, right wing lies, incompetence, conspiracy theories, and the injustice of empire still isnt enough to make it clear where I stand on various issues. Oh wait... the people that don't get it are thick. As you were. PS. Dont mistake kindness for niceness.

Kiffie8 @kiffie.info · 03/10/2026

...I modulate by instinct, between major, minor and modal motifs and melody almost always takes centre stage. I only record in audio, midi and quantizing isn't for me. If it sounds like a reversed and stretched cymbal, it is. Want to hear?

Kiffie8 @kiffie.info · 03/10/2026

Some people say my music is unique, they often say it is warm, organic and, for electronic music, sort of surprising. I think this might be because of how I write. I am influenced just as much by Beethoven as I am by Depeche Mode or Nine Inch Nails....

Kiffie8 @kiffie.info · 03/10/2026

A whole new way of seeing 👀 And feeling and being strong. 🤗 🐝 💪 #lyricalemojis

Morning all. Thanks for the music support yesterday and for the birthday wishes! I really appreciate your kindness. Have a great weekend. 🥰

Kiffie8 @kiffie.info · 03/10/2026

This weekend is my birthday weekend. I'm 47 now. And still never giving up. So here's a present for you. This code "kiffifty" gives you 50% off all digital downloads on bandcamp. I'd like to buy my wife a nice meal out to celebrate. Because if she is happy, I am happy.

Kiffie8 @kiffie.info · 02/10/2026

How dare they say I'm not actually purple? What gives?

Kiffie8 @kiffie.info · 02/10/2026

My post was a parody of how some people actually think. It is hilarious.

I've been featured and reviewed in the two biggest magazines for my genre in the UK 6 times in 6 years. Blitzed Magazine, that specialises in 80s music and modern music inspired by it. And the authority on all electronic music, Electronic Sound. If I can, you can.

Kiffie8 @kiffie.info · 02/10/2026

It actually got me thinking... I like to support talented people... because I've had some incredible successes with my music, and I have a lot of insight. Allow me to explain. I've had my music played on BBC radio, I've been into BBC studios to be interviewed in person too...

Kiffie8 @kiffie.info · 02/10/2026

...A classic bit of electropop is also here in collab form with the talented @edwardspark.com edwardspark.bandcamp.com/track/one Thank you. Have a great day! Kiffie.

A stunner. I'll have to unblock them.

I have just been informed that someone is going to out me because they found out that I not actually purple. They said that it is inauthentic and that real artists never use stylised images or branding to create a sense of wonder or interest. And on bandcamp Friday too!

Kiffie8 @kiffie.info · 02/10/2026

Flashy and fun. It is #bandcampfriday and I'm looking for #musicsky people who might like my unique brand of #synthpop #electronica and #electropop inspired by the 1980s. All human made on hardware synths! I am only missing YOU. Or you. kiffie.bandcamp.com/album/approa...

Yes. I'm 46. Yes. I'm sensitive. Yes. I'm imperfect. No. I'm not a model. If you have a problem with me, that is very very much your problem. If you're kind, if love rules your life, I stand with you.

Kiffie8 @kiffie.info · 02/10/2026

It isn't difficult to make structured and meaningful music in a very short period of time. People putting out AI generated tracks is sort of depressing. These three tracks were made in one session, and released within 12 hours of starting. kiffie.bandcamp.com/album/conseq...

I don’t ever want to be part of spaces and communities that protect and defend abusers or stay quiet when abuse is happening right in front of them. I will never stay quiet. I think you all have seen that from me already. If that makes me a villain and a pariah, then that makes me a very proud one.
