Is this song by David Gray one of the most beautiful songs ever written?

Kiffie8 @kiffie.info · 10/10/2026

My new set up is so motivating... Also gives me a chance to let you hear a snippet of one of my songs (written in 2022) without you needing to click a link. My music is available on bandcamp and I'd love for you to come and explore it. Definitely something for synth lovers!

I like to leave the raw emotion in my songs, I like to bend vocal notes, I don't use pitch correction so that the human quality of the message is maintained. What quirk do you have?

Tried and failed to make a sort of scrap book display of some of my features in electronic sound. I think I need a prit-stick or something. And a more easy to use frame. 😅

A poorly mounted scrapbook frame of 3 electronic sound features of my music, reviews etc.

Flashy and fun. It is #bandcampfriday and I'm looking for #musicsky people who might like my unique brand of #synthpop #electronica and #electropop inspired by the 1980s. All human made on hardware synths! I am only missing YOU. Or you. kiffie.bandcamp.com/album/approa...

Today is Bandcamp Friday. I hope all my music friends have a good day. Here is a snippet of something I'm working on, if you'd like to support my music today then check out "Approaching the Horizon" my 2025 album about eternal love in an eternal cosmos. Alternative synthpop some might say. Enjoy!

Yes. I'm 46. Yes. I'm sensitive. Yes. I'm imperfect. No. I'm not a model. If you have a problem with me, that is very very much your problem. If you're kind, if love rules your life, I stand with you.

A massive influence on me and my music... @blocparty.com have a lots of amazing songs that if you're unfamiliar with you should check out. I recommend this album, all of it, but chances are you could pick any album and find a stunner! I enjoy the layers and surprising song writing.

One from the archive... "This Isn't How it Ends" from part 2 of the Home Trilogy... A raw analogue electronica groove that builds and builds and loops and loops - sometimes the song demands it don't you think?

From the beginning of my music project "Kiffie" I have written about the end of things. What does that look like? 1. Antiscience replacing logic and reason. 2. Echo Chambers and the praising of ignorance. 3. Authoritarian regimes taking advantage of the ignorant or "enlightened" moral dichotomy..

I think it is really important that artists celebrate their successes. If you had told me 6 years ago that I would one day have my name printed, and my music featured, in not one, but two genre defining publications I wouldn't have believed you. But how did this happen?

A photo showing my bandcamp page plenty, plus articles about my music in Blitzed Magazine and Electronic Sound.

control and categorise you. In a world where you can be anything... why wouldn't you choose to be kind?

Of all my album artworks I probably like this one the most. It is deliberately naive, fun, open, honest, and a very wide smile. It triggers those who seek to dehumanise me (and wouldnt not dehumanise you) just as much as it pleases those who get it. Rules exist to...

They say we should reveal more about who we are as people. Well I dont know about that, but I can tell you some things that might be interesting. Some of my interests, passions, background. More than just music. Inspired by some friends I saw post similar.

Do you have a djembe that has been used too many times as a cat scratching post? Do you have lots of old funky t-shirts that dont fit anymore? Problem solved!

Lots of funky t-shirts cut into strips and used to cover my Djembe.

Morning all! I've been feeling "reflective" recently, and needed a pick me up. So I read through some of the articles featuring my music in these 3 editions of #ElectronicSound But mostly I think about the connections I've made with you. Yes you. If you think I mean you, I do. Thank you!!

It is ok to make mistakes. But you know now... so I echo this. Most of my artworks are processed non-ai stock images or selfies. I enjoy making my covers this way. Adds a bit of extra fun to the whole music thing!

One of the things I like to do after bandcamp Friday is to give a little freebie as a thank you. Take one of these codes if you helped support my music in any way over the last few years or if you are into perhaps the EBM darker side of instrumental synths. Thank you 😊 see below!!
