Interesting. I compiled a recent build of the SuperTuxKart Evolution repository on my desktop and put it on my deck and it just... launched it without crying about missing libraries. Last time it did so I got no clue what changed. Maybe the OS updates added them? Or the build included them??

Long shot, but do usb midi keyboards work with lutris and wine? I was able to get flstudio running fine, vst included, but it doesn't find my keyboard. I'm not oppsoed to transitioning to LMMS, but I first wanted to see if I could get flstudio working as I paid big money for it years back lol.

Now, I got to try out the wireless streaming with the dongle. Was a NIGHTMARE setting up because I dared switch over to Linux. I used the guide below and Valve's troubleshooting script to get it running (as well as going into beta on SteamVR). But oh man, it actually ran quite well for same-room.

Pairing Steam Controller was painless, had to do it over bluetooth. You can hold L1 + B to engage the alternative mode, much like L1 + A for different pucks. Frame Controllers handle nicely, basically feels like Quest controllers. Wish the storage wasn't fused to the motherboard but microsd is ok.

So I got to try out the Steam Frame earlier. It's neat. I'll say that much. Wish I could be put in the reservation queue already. Standalone's nice, choppy on Boneworks. Steam Frame Dongle needs a lot of setup on Linux, big headache.

I played about with this riven earlier, it's killing the Entropic Eximus units which is pretty much what I wanted. -stat duration sucks but I can throw on Lasting Sting to make that -0.4%. Don't usually use fist weapons in Warframe outside of Atlas/Valkyr so it was a nice change of pace.

Here's something exceedingly unconventional. I had a very strange dream last night and also Henry from Endacopia was there for some reason??? I had to kinda-sorta put these things down before I forget 'cause it somehow stuck. Story in the alt text, if you care for context.

Description:
Title: Things from my Dreams

A yellow lizard-like creature with a hunched back is labelled as leading a gang of bird-like creatures. His name is Henry and he comes from Endacopia by Andyland. He is not drawn like the rest and is instead a screenshot.

A bird-like creature with mismatched colorful plumage stands vacantly. It is described as having a vacant look, a cheer disposition, and is very colorful. It is said that honking its "nose" disables it.

There are two other bird-like creatures.

A shadowy figure of a woman stands at a table in a brightly colored room. The walls are colored in primary colors and the floor was a shade of green.

Story:
Had this dream where I was in this hotel solving some sort of mystery. This mystery had this sort of quirky point and click adventure feel to it.

At one point, I arrived on some sort of floor that had a bit of an open space and colorful walls like a playplace. And I was talking to this woman to try and get access to the next floor but was interrupted when I saw something in the corner of my eyes, so I hid under her desk which, for some reason, she didn't even mind.

Next thing I knew, I heard a loud thumping approaching, accompanied by heavy breathing, and then the creature started tearing apart the desk to try and find me, actually failing to spot me when it tore out the front and only really found me because, and I quote what I was thinking, "I must've made eye contact with it."

It grabbed me and was about to kill me before I opened up a menu and loaded a save to before it happened and saw that there was weird bird creatures that were supposed to go out and track me down, but I could disable up to three of them by honking their noses.

The hiding was more successful after doing that and the dream kind of ended before I could even proceed.
Also the monster looked a lot like Henry from Endacopia.

probably gonna try and give kde's built-in drawing tablet feature another try been using opentabletdrivers for a while now but it's been tedious having to restart the tablet whenever i wake my pc up from sleep. it's also been a while so... i'll take any simple suggestion for tomorrow.

As nice as it is to play on my Deck, it's also very nice to play games on my desktop PC every once in a while. That said the paralysis is even more so on PC simply because I can see the large line of games in my library lmao.
