Closed on my first house with my mom today. Excited to finally have my own place.

We've decided that the best time for cuddles is not when sleeping, it's right after I wake up. He's made a habit of sauntering in right after my alarm goes off and laying in my belly.

Me: Oh I can watch the neighbors in their hot tub from upstairs. Realtor: You are the only one other than me that would notice that.

I don't think I ever paid the cat tax on here. My two precious boys I adopted a couple months ago: Stout and his brother Barley.

Got some lucky winds to blow away the smoke just in time for the weekend. Been able to enjoy a quiet morning out in the woods.

The most extra packaging for fireworks we've found yet. Damn near needed bolt cutters to get those off.

Keyy Otter @keyy.lutrinae.us · 04/07/2026

Weather was depressing yesterday for fireworks. It is vastly better today.

Been confusing some people here about why I would have a pride flag and thin blue line. I don't think they have been looking close enough to see its a thin Dew line xD

Still recovering from FWA but can't stop thinking about my amazing team in the event suites. From my director all the way down to my volunteers we helped nearly 36 awesome events happen over the course of the convention. Hard to imagine any other con doing it without all these amazing people.

Weeding the lawn, love how effective the tool I have is. One of the cats was enjoying trying to catch the weeds as I tossed them.

Restored the garden at my mom's place for Easter weekend. Some new bricks and bark go a long way. Trying to get all the chores done my brother has been neglecting.

Pretty happy with the new gaming lounge. Managed to get a lot more collectibles and knick-knacks displayed. Still need to review some better upscaling tech for the retro consoles. What I have worked fine on the old 32" 1080p but not so much on 55" 4K.

Probably the third or fourth iteration of doing my gaming entertainment setup upstairs. Finally landed on something that puts it all together in a single system. Bonus it also gives me almost a foot more space for VR compared to the last version.
