The square dance at Pierce Mill on Sat was hours of pure joy. Sadly at 10 pm HSI and US Marshals showed up in cars with blacked out plates But then a dozen+ people stepped away for an hour to document and ensure an Uber driver was not taken by them. So proud of DC. #FreeDC

I love serviceberry and mulberry season in DC. It’s delicious and we are lucky @ddotdc.bsky.social and neighbors plant fruit trees :). Also, 10 months of military occupation is exhausting, and everything about the Federal District is a tacky dystopian mess.

I took the metro to a #PostOffice and renewed our passports. Every 15 mins they helped another family worried about MAGA policies get a passport. Plus the new electric mail trucks are cool! Post Offices are a much better use of our collective money than tax cuts for billionaires.
