I think the key to mash is a simple few steps; never use cold butter. Add your butter, when you think there’s enough, add some more. Let the butter melt and give everything a good shake. If you do these little things then it should take about 30 seconds to finish and serve great buttery mash

I was thinking earlier about my cooking skills. Once I know how to do something, I absolutely master it. In a contest between my wife and I, I win hands down at scrambled eggs and mashed potatoes - not together you fucking slags.
