I'd say the Saga Lounge in Keflavik Airport (IcelandAir) is nicer, but here are certainly worse places to wait for a flight than the United Club lounge here at Heathrow. Moreover, the air seems better there than it's been the past couple of days and my cough is fading.

Deeply unimpressed with Heathrow Express. Apparently if a ticket machine doesn't print your ticket that's your problem, you just have to buy another one. Even if a member of their staff saw it happen.

I was bursting with pride for Cheryl as I sat literally front and center at the ceremony. OTOH, it meant I couldn’t let myself fall asleep during other parts of it earlier, given that the vice chancellor with whom we’d just had lunch was looking straight at me. (I’d woke up at 4 am.)
