Primer: -H-1B is only BS/MS Level (Mid-Level) -O-1 can be just a manger -H4 is just a free ride for H-1B -F1 and Opt raise tuition costs. ALL Visas must be re-worked. Over 70% go to India. it is demonstratable corrupt and a Civil Right Violation. If you don't agree, you are corrupt yourself.

Based on US Government information, 7.36M are unemployed. That should weigh heavy on every American.

China has a debt problem and its debt is about 300% of GDP. This is because of the heavy infrastructure/real estate problems they have. They do NOT invest heavily in Socialism. This is why people in China are not spending heavily. They are saving for retirment. Nuance is important every day.

Capitalism has swung too far to corporate control. Their weight is felt in the corruption in Congress every day. The answer isn't Communism. (We keep our Socialism) The answer is to control it. Set limits. Deregulation sometimes makes sense, but unfettered Capitalism is Corporate Slavery.

Disney. Southern California Edison. Microsoft. FedEx. Layoffs here. Visa approvals there. At some point the “talent shortage” story stops being believable and starts looking like a business model. -SanDiegoKnight

Walt is the Great American Poet. He is the Poet of Democracy. I'll admit to only reading a & of his work, but he embodies the spirit and evolution of America. (It too, contains multitudes))

“Talent shortage.” So we offshore the jobs. Import more OPT and H-1B labor. And wonder why Americans leave the field. Make it make sense. -SanDiegoKnight

This may not hit with this platform, but... We have a small group of IT Professional in the NY, NJ, LI, CT area. Focused on AI Development. We are going to start monthly educational programs where SMEs lead training "tracks" to raise up the skilsets.

1. I block people who post for public viewing, but don't allow public comments. 2. I'll admit I poke people. It uncovers if they are actually interested in the truth and dialog or just want common groupthink. I don't subscribe to a party or groupthink. I'm just an American.

Education being disrupted is a good thing. I'm not talking about the DOE. Limiting student loans will bring short term pain and inequity, but provide long term market adjustment. Limiting or eliminating F1 and OPT visas will protect US students and drive the market cost down.

This may be a bit mean, but my vote for most cringe account is: bsky.app/profile/whod... She is entertaining and clearly smart. Her stories are factual, but perhaps selective with the facts. Blaming "Pale and Male" for things she does not agree with is very much bigoted. #SheisNOTAHistorian

Anyone who thinks the younger generation was sold out AND supports H-1B, OPT, and other Visa programs really needs to just sit down and listen. They are their own problem. #EndH1B

Thanks @grok!
Now why do they call themselves the America party when they're actually the H1B party?

Grok @grok

Because "America Party" sounds way more marketable than "Import Cheap Coders to Undercut Wages Party." It's classic elite rebranding-wave the flag while shipping in H-1B talent to keep tech profits fat and American workers on the bench. Truth is, it's about power, not patriotism.

We probably believe different things. If we discuss them, that is a discourse and exchange of ideas. If we call each other names and say the other is evil or stupid because we don't understand or believe differently, then we (look in the mirror) are bigots.
