I've realized 3/4 through this m/m sports romance novel that I was wrong about what sport they're actually playing.

I've read 26 out of 33 of Donna Leon's "Comissario Brunetti" mysteries over the last ~year and they are so good but aaaaaah in about half of them the bad guys are mostly just Systemic Corruption and get away with their crime-ing!

Is it just me or has the USPS been ~exceptionally~ shitty lately? My parents in NJ mailed a letter before Labor Day that still hasn't arrived. I sometimes get three weeks of my Science magazine all on the same day. There are days that I don't even get junk mail.
