AI is a plateaued technology. There is no more room for 'growth'. Only incremental "improvements" to the "dataset" (stolen art). The Capitalists are tempering expectations by saying it will now be "regulated". None of that will protect you or I, but will instead be an excuse when it is bailed out.

3 years ago, I was a screenwriter in LA when the F.U.D. started around GenAI in the industry. I was convinced then (and still am) that GenAI is terrible for everyone in the long term, even the execs forcing it. So I pitched a comedy game about it to my friends, and we made it. Please try it out!

Oops, missed this— sorry! The narrative system and day job sim system is largely separate in that regard. You wont close off story options by taking short cuts at work, though some employees wont visit the lobby as often if you make certain narrative choices during quests at night!
