Happy lunchtime you UK lot. It’s 5 am on Vancouver Island. Today’s the day we get on a float plan and head off-grid for 5 days, there will be bears. See you all on the other side #Canada #KnightInlet

Big day for the Americans who have just woken up and are just about to find out what dogging and fly-tipping are.

Trump has an absolute no-nonsense approach when it comes to the illegal disposal of old mattresses.

While listening to council meetings in Montreal, local mayor Sue Montgomery decided to knit in red when men spoke and in green when women spoke, when similar numbers of both attended. Day 1 results.... #WomensArt

Seeing as we’re wheels up from tomorrow, I’m hoping the SpaceX orbit either continues orbiting or is back on Earth after Wednesday. Don’t fancy watching it do a fly pass. Please and Thank You.

We’ve got a couple of days in Vancouver, then flying to Kinigt Inlet (indigenous owned floating lodges), off grid for bears, whales and wildlife. Then a week on Vancouver Island. We did Knight inlet in 2024 and had to return.

Spent the day packing and repacking for our #canada trip. Complicated by a stop over in Dublin and a week in a rain forest off grid. Layers is the order of the day. As our 🍁🇨🇦 friends would say #elbowsup

Agree. I’m sure it will settle and they are all doing well, but it’s not yet cohesive.

I do think Josh needs to be upstairs and Johannes down doing a picking apart of the steps/what’s expected kind of thing.

It could be me, but it feels more shrieky than normal - could be early days but presenters seem to be as hyper as dancers #strictly

Normally a fan of young people going for it, and there are some on #GBBO I’m rooting for, but others do need to calm the fuck down.

I heard some river cruises had a mare this Summer, not enough water in the river (this was the Danube) with bus transfers and swap ships in some places.

Here, I know how much you guys love carpeted toilet accessories. Photo from my collection, 1966.

Photo of a medium haired, white and light ginger kitten lying on top of a toilet lid. The toilet lid is covered in a very light teal carpeted cover. There is a somewhat matching mat on the floor. There is also pink toilet paper hanging in the background.

When I see the advert “what’s the BBC ever done for me” I applaud the drama & comedy output. The news is shit - ex pat billionaires having a voice to put down the UK; “legitimate concerns” means not calling out aggression & racism. Political journalism not challenging falsehoods. #BBC is broken.
