Over the last 3 days of village show committee: setting up (gale force gusts), having the day, and taking it all down I have walked circa 58,000 steps and circa 25 miles. I am bleddy knackered and not a little stiff.

Today on a call hearing about people’s experience of social care. Very important and part of my job. Behind me I could hear the adorable dog I was puppy sitting for friends shredding some paper work. Me: don’t let it be important (whilst looking interested) Others: is that fear in her eyes?
