After moving in 2018 and shaking up my world a bit I learned that I had been sacrificing myself to try and make my ex fiancé happy. I wasn’t taking care of myself. After the move I decided that I needed to focus on myself, so I broke up with her in 2019.

I am bisexual, my partners and I are polyamorous, I am disabled. These things drive me to not shrug off my civic duty as a citizen to find the best representative for mine and my communities interests. Not everyone sees politics this way. Being a part of a few minority groups causes me to triple check my decisions on politics this far out. But I want to be sure of my choice. I don't compare myself to others often. I'll talk with friends about their choices and compare notes where we have similar choices. But I make sure that I vote.
