Tonight I dreamed I had a white cat.... she bit me in the hand. I was a child again. Visiting my deceased grandparents and looking at their collection or decorative wall mounted plates.... then I woke up with weird visual hallucinations. There was a lot of flimmer on my ceiling.

A common trope in japanese youkai legends is the false sanctuary. The protagonist thinks they got away from the threat, but then the presumably safe place turned out to be a danger too. This relates to the philosophy of zanshin. The idea that one should always stay alert and aware at all times.

A physiotherapist just gave me HORRIBLE health advice. Telling me, "there is only a 3% difference lifting from the back or from the legs. Just lift from your back. It's new research. ASK CHAT GPT" There is a 3% difference in metabolic rate. BUT The difference in force can easily be 200%

Another thing AI is absolutely horrendously bad at. Analysing kanji radicals. The AI gets confused about which radical means what and conflates top, bottom, left, right regularly. Disappointing, as this should be a task a pattern recognition machine SHOULD be great at.

The less competent AI is, the better. These are just LLMs. If LLMs are successful, they might move on to building something that's actually conscious. LLMs are great, because they are a massive turn off to people. Preventing an end of the world scenario with actual AI.

Been thinking about the turn of phrase "people living like animals" and how SOMEHOW this has a negative connotation. Even though there is an ever increasingly popular idea that the more natural the diet, the more time spent in nature, and the less societal pressure, the healthier a person is.

This was interesting. Someone noticed that we are three people being loving with each other. They asked if we are "exchanging energy". And they seemed very confused when partner explained that we are poly. They seemed surprised to learn that some people are not very jealous.
