My current #WIP for a winter holiday quilt top. Need to figure how to tilt the #LoneStar pattern so it's more compass than traditional 2 points on each side/edge. #QuiltSky, any tips for that geometry math? Modifying pattern from #MxDomestic

#RepostYourArt day 30, Whimsical. I've made a hat each month to bring some themed whimsy into my wardrobe. Pattern is Wyeth from Elsewhen Millnery. It does not use a lot of fabric, so it's good for scraps. Occasionally I become one of those "hat is my personality" people. #SewSky

A photo of a quilt with pattern of big and small squares, diamonds, and right triangles to form a rectangle for the diamonds, and bigger squares on the squares. The collective image in the quilt is a geometric image of a bee at two purple flowers against a background of various greens, forming diagonal waves. #RepostYourArt day 24, Slow. This pixel style Mandalorian helm was probably the longest I spent plotting, counting, and sewing (and seam ripping) a quilt top. The backing fabrics are also Mando-themed from JoAnn. I shall probably give to a friend. Done mid 2024. #QuiltSky #Mandalorian #StarWars

Another Art Along for upcoming Wednesday. Played with some fabric scraps for a kinusaiga style landscape.
Text bubble "The Night Before The Dawn Before The Day". Three of the landscapes shown in Kinusaiga art style- different fabrics on foam board to show 5 hills and a sky across the 3 pieces: blended light and dark blue night sky with scattered white dots, pale yellow/pink, and light blue with white streaks. The fabric of the hills change in color volume in an attempt to convey brightness: night has grey and dark green fabric hills, dawn has lighter and subdued greens, and day has vibrant green along with some yellow and purple colors in the fabric on the hills.

There is also 3 pictures of the crafting process. First depicts the pattern of a sun behind some hills (sun omitted in final piece), along with some fabric choices. Second picture shows the rough completed "night" piece while the dawn piece is in progress with the sky and 2 hills. Double sided Scotch tape nearby and on black foam board. The foam board has the pattern taped to it and peeled back to show the cuts in the foam board. Box cutter like knife nearby. 3rd picture is a more tidy table showing of the pattern on the dawn piece with the box cutter knife near.
