I did meant it in a casual way and trying to get stuff, if you get technical with speedruns yeah oot is faster since there is ACE available (dunno about potential quest speedruns but it can't get much faster than that)

I think my issue is that her friends are caring but she never acknowledges them properly and doesn't "earn" that care. She shows mostly animosity to poor Mu and somehow Mu still roots for her I felt it wasn't earned. Anyhow no point in raining on your parade further enjoy the rest of the game!!

Yes that's also a weakness on Leda's path it's very focused on her story so you kinda miss out on important lore stuff. Dietrich was my favorite story/character wise, Theodora being a close second with also the best gameplay! (Part of why I saved her for last hehe). It's good to hear other opinions!

What were your thoughts on Leda? Having almost cleared all part ones by this point (at the end of theodora's) and Leda is the only one I really didn't enjoy unfortunately, I don't find her compelling as a character and her journey felt hollow. What were your thoughts I'm very curious!

I feel like once I am done I'll have even less of a drive to go back to it than sov. I don't see the appeal in whatever future "new playthrough" of fortune's weave, which isn't something I can say for most FE games especially right out of the first playthrough. It's a shame.

My current placement would be close to the bottom, between blazing blade and sov. It has a lot of cool stuff going for it, my current favourite being the emphasis on personal skills and individual units having unique tools, however the ammount of busywork and the strange design choices

It is my absolute favourite fire emblem and very probably in my top 3 favourite game of all time... With all that being said with my current knowledge of fortune's weave (almost all part one done and no info on part 2 and 3), where would I put it were I to rank it now.

Putting the player in the exact right balance between feeling backed into a corner but very powerful at the same time. With all the modern qol you can like (if only conquest had Divine Pulse for example), while giving a lot of player expression (stuff that new mystery can sort of lack)

Number 1 Engage. The greatest tragedy of the decade was the slander this game received, no matter your thoughts on the story (I thought it was alright!) the gameplay is stellar, it is what modern fire emblem should strive to be. It doesn't crumble below it's complex systems and actively pushes back

Number 2 New Mystery of the Emblem : peak "basic" fire emblem pushed to the absolute limit with Lunatic Reverse. A game that has no qualms about pushing the player into the tiniest corner making it all the more satisfying to clutch through. I can't get enough of it.

Number 3 Genealogy of the Holy War. Between the extremely unique game systems the amazing storytelling and setting, Genealogy is a tough game to not love if you don't mind the learning curve. Absolute cinema of a game that has very quickly become a favorite.

Number 4 Path of Radiance, this was my first FE game and it really has VIBES in spades, cool characters cool soundtrack cool maps the battle animations look great and I'll die on this hill (genuinely baffled that some ppl find it ugly.) Cool story with Ike being a no nonsense guy, I love it.

Number 5 Sacred Stones. Pure unfiltered Nostalgia on the most feature complete of the GBA trilogy. An extremely solid and gorgeous entry in the series which you can play in a lot of ways. Sure it's not super tough but it's a lot of good fun!

Number 6 This is the start of the nostalgia train the next three games are heavily carried by my childhood memories of them, starting off with Awakening the game that got me back into the series. Extremely fun sandbox, very unbalanced but a lot of room for cool ish stuff. A great one.

Number 7 Conquest : This one is bound to jump up once I actually play through it on Lunatic but a recent hard playthrough was already an extremely good memory. So much fun once it gets going, a great Fire Emblem game story issues aside.

Number 8 : Shadow Dragon. Extremely overshadowed by it's little brother, still a very tight fire emblem package which gets very silly and fun on hard 5. A weird game but one I've come to appreciate in spite of all it's flaws.

Number 9 Three Houses : A fun mess of a game. I like the characters, the balance is all over the place but every so often you get to do some ammount of cool stuff. Not one I'm jumping at the oportunity to replay but I'm drawn to it every so often. It's good!

Number 10 Shadows of Valentia : It's a fun little what if Fire Emblem was the same but very different. Very cool to play once but doesn't look like a very appealing replay to me. Features a lot of cool and unique mechanics that will inform the switch era and looks great. I like it.

Number 11 Blazing Blade : Only completed it recently, not having nostalgia for it doesn't do it any favours. It's a fine and tight package just nothing that wows me or that I have a soft spot for. A solid game!

not autosaving before restart and just having access to a few crucial previous autosaves to make sure you don't lose progress over a dumb mistake like that is crazy to me. This is on me but it should absolutely not be an issue in the first place. Rant over. I'm pissed the fourth part 1 should have

Okay I have a lot of thoughts on Fortune's Weave I'm saving for when I actually completed the whole damn thing but this specific issue hapenned twice to me recently and the si gle save file thingie is such an annoyance. In isolation I don't like it but I can live with it, I understand the intent.

I appreciate that they don't even taunt you like "now maybe you can go for a better rank", maybe one day... Anyhow I did it yaaaaay. Now just a week until a CASUAL playthrough of Fortune's Weave.

It's a screenshot of Fire Emblem 12 showcasing the player ranks at the end of the run. The player got E in speed, C in survival and C in tactics. On the bottom screen the game congratulates the player on beating Reverse Lunatic, the highest difficulty in the game.
