Hey bluesky folks. Have a drawing I did in 2013 and a drawing I just finished yesterday.

Huh. Still kind of shocked image recognition picked anything up there

Lmao amazing. I am actually pretty surprised whatever image recognition they're running is picking up on the figure

The eternal puritanism of American sites is something to behold:

Having peeps over for vinyl night tonight. The record player has been such a positive thing for a low-pressure social hub/facilitator

Thank you 🙏 like, whether or not I get the account back, I've really been touched by posts like that

Can't blief ur alt got me banned smdh

Kendric Tonn @kendric.bsky.social · 27/05/2023

Really appreciate that; really appreciate the post. My best guess is that some unknowable algorithm concluded that I also owned (@)1488GroypWaffen (rip) somehow, so I got banned for evading their ban, but 🤷

It's because I'm here now 😔

This is a permanent suspension for (in theory) evasion of another permanent suspension (which has never happened to me). I sent in an appeal, so we'll see

I've seen a little of it, and I'm seriously very touched by it. I hope they reverse the ban so I can do the full Tom Sawyer, but it's been sort of neat anyway

Not at all, thank you for doing so

030

Kendric Tonn @kendric.bsky.social · 27/05/2023

And for anyone I've missed, as well; I don't have a perfect sense of who's overlapping where

Hey @womancorn.bsky.social , @eigenrobot.bsky.social , wanted to say thank you for the posts over on Twitter; is very kind and greatly appreciated

I should contemplate this, before I get into a place where I must contemplate this on the tree of woe.

It is occurring to me that Twitter has become, over the past few years, easily the primary way I've been finding homes for paintings. I'm thankfully currently in a position where I don't need to freak out about it, but.

Thank ya. In this case, we've been pretty clearly going on dates, but I wouldn't say we've been dating, if the distinction makes sense; hoping to escalate that, though.

Kendric Tonn @kendric.bsky.social · 27/05/2023

Ahh, that's really touching, thank you

Kendric Tonn @kendric.bsky.social · 27/05/2023

I think the appeals usually get looked at, though not necessarily with any degree of rigor

<3 well, if this Blondie keeps hanging around maybe we'll make an even hotter pair

020

Kendric Tonn @kendric.bsky.social · 27/05/2023

I suppose that's what's gotten me this far ahah

040

Kendric Tonn @kendric.bsky.social · 27/05/2023

Thank you prince <3 he's a model, though, as in signed ahah

He's cheerful and incredibly good/easy conversation; I keep forgetting that he's ludicrously out-of-my-league good looking, until it occasionally crashes back in again.

As long as I'm here posting, I have a blond coming over for vinyl night tomorrow, y'all. I have an enormous crush on him, and I really shouldn't, but oof. I'm too old to crush this vigorously.

Kendric Tonn @kendric.bsky.social · 27/05/2023

(to be clear, I don't think there is any conceivable way I am actually engaging in suspension evasion; I regret to inform you all that I don't have a Spicy Alt or something)

Kendric Tonn @kendric.bsky.social · 27/05/2023

Zero idea, aside from ig "some algorithm decided I owned another account that got suspended"

Found one singular tiny little ant crawling on my arm, and now every square inch of my body is sending RED ALERT THERE MIGHT BE A BUG signals. Help ;_;

Getting the actual edition of this linocut printed and ready for a house show on Saturday

Kendric Tonn @kendric.bsky.social · 02/05/2023

I tried to paint today, but just slept the whole afternoon away. Groggily taking care of some studio logistics now -_-

010

Kendric Tonn @kendric.bsky.social · 01/05/2023

Definitely you should ahah. I'm going to be doing a variant of this one, and I still have some of the bridge one, but just let me know when one strikes you!

Kendric Tonn @kendric.bsky.social · 01/05/2023

Banging on some linocuts. It's been an interesting experience, and I think it'll give me something worthwhile I can take back to the oil paintings, but it's frustrating starting something totally new.
