Found the email I sent when I got accidentally added to the faculty listserv of an orthopedic surgery clinic and nobody would remove me so I sent this email to all faculty/staff/med students and they removed me almost immediately

Hello Bone Colleagues,
I have invented a new type of ankle and I'm very excited to show it to you. Early raccoon trials suggest a 60% increase in scurrying speed and dramatic increases in fine motor banditry. I know we are not supposed to create super raccoons, but I think you'll change your mind and professional ethics when you see how cute they are. I believe we are on the cusp of a new era in advanced human scurrying because if medical science has taught me anything, it's that improvements in raccoons correspond 1:1 to improvements in humans.

UPDATE: Achieved the ending I was going for—win election, fulfill brother's request—but he is still low-contact with me. :c Probably because I'm the ruler of the evil empire and he is quite reasonably wary of that, but I'm still sad, dammit. Take 3: do siblingquest AGAIN, lose election this time??

Okay so I got *so much* incredible plot development this run that I did not expect, including quite possibly the single coolest scene in the game, but. BUT I did not get the sibling good end after all ;___; I am devastated. I need the sibling good end. I will do anything to get it.

If there's one thing that frustrates me about this game, it's how difficult it makes it to reference info you've already learned in a run. My kingdom for the option to view a met Elector's profile without visiting them, or for the map view to list a planet's Electors instead of just active quests…

Special shoutout, btw, to the Mau electors, who were kind enough to vote unanimously for someone who never once set foot anywhere near their planet. Realistically this probably means I made choices they approve of, but I prefer to think they just appreciate being left the fuck alone.

Korundi: We have reports suggesting multiple threats against your life. You should avoid any potentially hazardous situations that might be exploited.

Korundi: Consider carefully whether anyone you know might be an enemy.

Since Zorana's mood is now cautious, one of the available mood-changing actions is "Make Lists of Enemies".

Studying Basic-level Pressure Points: You study anatomy, learning about the most vulnerable points of the body which need to be protected from inexpert handling. Trying to 'realign' someone's spine could leave them paralysed!

Learning the first two levels of Demolition:
1. Safety is paramount! Be aware of what might trigger an explosion - fire, heat, vibrations, tripwires, timers running out, etc. Always equip protective gear. And take cover!
2. You experiment with basic explosives, from tiny snap-bangs to thrown grenades or long-fuse dynamite. Satisfyingly BOOM, but dangerously indiscriminate.

I wish the "dark button text" option worked on these choices instead of (as far as I can tell?) just in the system menus. I don't strictly need to be able to read the text while the option is focused, but it kind of hurts to look at.

Oh, neat, the unlocked codex entries persist between playthroughs? I guess that would be possible, since there's a separate place for per-run info.

The interface is a little bit... sensory overload, compared to LLTQ's. Hopefully some of that will just be a matter of getting used to it, though.
