My sense is all on one floor makes a home feel more liveable rather than cramped. But you achieve the same thing.... 3 or 4 homes in the same footprint of land 🤷🏼‍♀️

When I lived in Europe, there were the 3 / 4 story building... but each dwelling was a roomy, single floor dwelling. This makes more sense to me. If I'm down sizing, I'm happy in an apartment with 2 or 3 bedrooms... but I really dont want to be up and down stairs once Im home.

I think increased density in cities is the way to go... bring people in close to where they work, make it easy for them to get around and do the things they need to do (leisure, live, shop, groceries all that stuff). But we seem to insist on tiny multi floor single dwellings.

So I coualdnt be bothered with dinner tonight and have made myself a simple cheese and tomato sandwich. And I remembered the tomato we had in a salad while we were in Queensland last month. OMG. It had FLAVOUR!! Like an actual picked at home yummy fresh tomato tastes. It was soooo good.

We recently spent some time in Australia. The eldest manage to drop his vape in a loo at the airport before we departed. I assumed that would mean he'd pick up a new one in Aus- but no. you can't buy them willy nilly there like you can here. We should’ve done that here. Regulate for stupid & young
