Glad to visit Summerland earlier this week. During wildfire response, we had asked people to visit other areas in BC or reschedule to give room for first responders and evacuees, and we are thankful to everyone who did so. But now, it’s time to come back!

In an emergency, it takes everyone pulling together. That’s exactly what Summerland did. They’ve shown grit and compassion as they came together, from the initial response, to taking care of people that have been evacuated from their home, to now starting the process of recovery.
