Most car buyers, new and used, live in a single family home. Most car buyers drive ~40 miles aday and 50-250 miles on road trips. Most car buyers would be better served with an EV and be able to handle their commute for pennies on the dollar with a household plug. Most avoid EVs due to FUD.

I may as well do a #solar #homegeneration update for July now. Little cloud, over 25kwh generated per day so unsurprisingly July 2026 has been the best month ever. Heat makes a big difference to output though. On hot days, 4.86kwp panels rarely generated over 3.86kw.

#solar #homegeneration for May and June 2026. Below par months again but you can’t expect record breakers every year. One interesting note was the performance of my 4.8kwp system in the hot days of June. Production wallowed at 3.68kw due to the temperature of the panels. Cold sunny days are best!
