Picked up this early mid century dual window fan at the flea for 10 bucks. Instead of a restoration I decided it was messed up and “repaired” enough to get the custom treatment rewiring, new paint job, 3d printed spin cranks and front badges, adjustable feet, faux-leather handle wrap, weathering 🧶

The fan as found with missing cranks, no front badges, in battleship grey with heavy brush marks and tons of grime and rust

The fan now. The blades and cages are lime green, the case is olive, the details are cream and silver. The front badges now say “Big” and “fan” in an era appropriate front

Been looking for a vintage double window fan for a while and today I lucked out! This beast was $10 at the flea and works great. I’ve got some cosmetic work to do but here it is next to a mint one that goes for about $400
