I still hold a small glimmer of hope that they’ll adapt a new season. It gets smaller and smaller, but I haven’t quite given up lol

We have a retirement community in our neighborhood and I heard it on several morning walks when it was already in the mid 70s. Ma’am, my kid isn’t about to turn to dust like someone in this conversation, so she doesn’t need another layer to hold her together.

That’s normally my go-to when I give recommendations 😂

#battleofbooks September update. I really struggled between choosing The Language of Liars and Forest Euphoria. Both are SO good, but I think this short sci-fi packed a harder punch for me 💙📚

I liked it fine, because I’ve never read this author before. I’ve been told he’s written better. It’s an easy read and not as witchy as I’d hoped, but the real horror is that places and medical practices like that were real.

Omggg idk her name either but she is not fun to watch. There’s no real explanation for why she’s suddenly in the mix. She was forced in and now we’re stuck with her.

I love all the new players and coach. If only they had most of the screen time. Roy + Keeley and whatever tf is going on with Beard is a drag.

I’m right there with her. Compared to the writing and influences shown in the men’s seasons, this is a slap in the face.

That helps set my expectations from being too high. Sometimes I wonder if I dislike books after a hit because I came in with bias.

How’d you feel about Once and Future Witches? I’ve only read The Everlasting and thought it was perfect, so I’m curious if the other Harrow books are super good.

My only “alone” time is my morning walk with Small Lady, because she sleeps most of the time, and my evening shower. That’s it. It’s a good thing I really enjoy my kid lol

We decided when I got pregnant that our kid would be enrolled in jiu jitsu at an early age, regardless of assigned gender. Small Lady will be able to do damage, and as a teacher, I can’t wait for those future parent meetings 😈
