Ultimately, the Sword picks the Scribe — but I think @shannonlechon.bsky.social and I work better as partners, wouldn’t you say? After the most stressful month of my life, I thought I'd want rest, but no. We have so many more queer, cutting, and unflinchingly Filipino stories to talk about ~ 🪶

Seren Kilig is represented by Shannon Lechon at Azantian Literary Agency. Seren is depicted by a drawing from littlestpersimmon on Bluesky, which is of Seren’s character, Rivers. Rivers is a brown-skinned androgynous Filipino wearing a black cloak with cloth bandages around their neck. The background of the image is a grainy vintage picture of a university library.

APPARATUS, an adult Historical Fantasy by Seren Kilig. The background is a grainy 2x4 moodboard centered around 1920s imagery. This imagery includes a flapper girl in a sparkly red dress, text that says “body & soul”, a dagger hidden in a book, a tube of lipstick overtop handwritten letters, red wine pouring into a glass, a deck of tarot cards, text that says “coffee and cigarettes”, and a red die with a miniature crown.

It’s 1840, and Lu doesn’t have time for gothic horror. Managing a hotel at 14 is hard enough without flights of fancy taking over! That’s all his suspicions are: fancies. The blond boy in his basement is far too sweet to be digging up corpses— much less reanimating them. #YouDeservepIt #MG #WIP

moodboard with warm and cool tones. 9 equal sized squares. from left to right and top to bottom: a copper microscope; old medical tools in a pouch; silhouette of a Victorian man walking through warm-toned streets; a hand drawing an anatomical study; stairs viewed from above; a quote from Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein that reads “it is true, we shall be monsters, cut off from all the world; but on that account we shall be more attached to one another”; a painting of foggy Victorian London that shows the Houses of Parliament; a man in a black suit giving a medical lecture next to a full size skeleton; some open notebooks and textbooks with dark vials and glasses and a briefcase on a wooden desk.

here's the main trio of my ecohorror novella VIVARIUM for #MeetMyMCs !! bearer of the curse and his childhood friends <3 if they were ice cream, they'd be a scoop of coffee, a scoop of blueberry chocolate, and a scoop of strawberry lemon :)

overly intricate moodboard with nine squares set on a white background. the leftmost row is green and brown themed: the first box is titled "PETRA NOOR, metropolitan institute of medicine" and has three bullet points: "med student who sleeps well, black cat, and matcha latte." second box is a young desi woman with her eyes covered by a white scribble, with the text "the gang's impulse control, but like, fun (will allow one adventure)" and the quote, "Hello? You are very sweaty right now. Did you have a nightmare?" the third box is a green-themed study aesthetic image. the middle row is blue and white themed: the first box is titled "NATHAN HUI, metropolitan institute of bioengineering" and has three bullet points: "nepo baby slash god pawn bio major, white cat, and chamomile tea." second box is a young east asian man with his mouth covered by a white scribble, with the text "having a completely normal time (dreams that may or may not be prophetic)" and the quote, "Fine. Whatever. What the hell. I'll come to the edge." the third box is a blue-themed cozy bed aesthetic image. the rightmost row is gold and brown themed: the first box is titled "LEO MORGAN, metropolitan institute of mathematical sciences" and has three bullet points: "blonde himbo compsci major, golden retriever, and lemon soda." second box is a young blonde caucasian man with his eyes covered by a white scribble, with the text "father issues, and father is like, the main character of the universe" and the quote, "Whoa, almost got vulnerable there. I feel my manly aura depleting." the third box is a summery image of two lemon drinks on a brick garden shelf. the board has various graphics, decorations, and some memes that unfortunately can't all fit in an alt text. I am so sorry

#MeetMyMCs A ghost-hunter with a stubborn streak and a failing memory, desperate to find and destroy the ghost that killed her partner before it kills again, Blair Martin is the Jonathan Sims kinnie of your dreams; a fugitive who wonders, every time she looks in the mirror: "did I do it?"

An illustration of Blair Martin, a woman with short reddish-brown hair. She has a serious, slightly curious expression on her face. She's wearing a brown jacket, a dark green sweater, dark jeans, and hiking boots, and carrying a flashlight, which illuminates her in green light.

A moodboard, with a green and white color scheme.
Top left: two hands scraping against a broken glass window.
Top middle: a conspiracy board
Top right: a grainy photo of a bedroom, with a shadowy figure leaning down from the top bunk.
Middle left: a cop car with a cop stepping out.
Middle: a silhouette of a woman staring at a conspiracy board.
Middle right: a picture of police tape.
Bottom left: legs standing in ankle-high water, with hands reaching out and grabbing at them.
Bottom middle: a hand reaching for broken glasses on the ground.
Bottom right: the silhouette of a woman atop a hill, on fire.

Text over the moodboard reads: "contrary to what everyone in this godforsaken town would have you believe, I did not kill Georgie Palmer."

a 3x3 moodboard including: a girl with dark hair in a white dress against a black background, a dark-haired girl staring at a marble bust, a wet hadn pressed to a shower, bruised knees, a ballerina stretching with half her face obscured, lingerie hanging on a heater, a dark-haired girl staring at herself in a mirror, a girl underwater, a ballerina's tutu and hand.
