my 84 year old mother wryly observed that her rescue poodle’s well-loved toy is now sporting pubic hair

A bright yellow rubbery flexible squeaky dog toy of ambiguous species, possibly meant to be a monkey or a bear.

The yellow toy has a cheerful smiling face with black eyes and nose. It has a cartoonish appearance with its wide smile, simplistic features, exaggerate elongated limbs and soft rounded body.

The toy shows some wear and tear, it’s been well loved and well chewed, particularly in between its legs, where there are visible stuffing fibers sprouting that look like curly white hair growing between its yellow rubbery legs.
