Allowing military expansion of US bases on Greenland is a mistake. I hope Greenland and Denmark consider their options carefully before ratifying. IMO, it is about establishing a beach head to leverage resource extraction down the road. It has little to do with mutual defense.

There are rules around protesting on Parliament Hill. One is you can't go inside the building. The protestors tried to enter the chamber. They refused to desist and were arrested for trespassing. What indicates that they were arrested for their message? That seems to be the common narrative here.
