The house next door has finally sold so in a few weeks I'll have neighbours, which will be weird. Nice young couple. They like cats. Today the Dad was up working & G, the only hunter I like stopped to chat, so I went to introduce them and turns out they'd worked together for years before retiring.

So. An electric saga. They are putting a new water pipeline along the old railway. This is a good thing. They have to turn the electric off. Fine, understood. They are meant to notify us. They don't.
