Just found this tacked up at the college at which I teach, which has recently signed a deal with Anthropic, which stole 6 of my books and books by 131 colleagues.
Flier for a company that offers AI tutors that purport to tell you what happened in classes you missed. How they do this—is someone illegally recording the class?—isn’t made clear.

Amongst his textile innovations, a technique that Mariano Fortuny created in the early c20th was a series of metal matrices to speed up production of his printed fabrics whilst retaining the artisanship. Here a printed silk alongside one of the matrices #palazzofortuny #FashionHistory 🗃️🪡

Some one shouldered glamour in tight pleated silk jersey. It can only be Madame Grès, bringing her familiar technique to a black evening dress with a slash of scarlet. Late #1940s, sold via Kerry Taylor Auctions #FashionHistory 🗃️🪡

Hi new followers! My name is Katrina & I work at a textile museum that severely underpays its workers. If you love the pics I post, and would be willing to spare 5 minutes so my colleagues and I can still afford to work there, please shoot me a DM!

I only did one end of a handful and it took maybe 15 minutes. It would be back breaking to do enough to warp a loom. and I didn’t even spin it, just left it as a horsetail and put it in a vase
